PSI Projects deliver projects from start to finish and through maintenance periods. Often we observe project managers misunderstand the term procurement strategy and delivery strategy. This amissed lead to inefficient and costs. Most project managers on client-side lack the constructability’s knowledge (procurement of shop drawings, materials, and installation of trade disciplines and or detail of trade works being stage) is their achilles. This gap or amissed often present to the client without understanding the distinct differentiation.
The procurement strategy has often acknowledged a contract or a formal agreement between a client (Principal) and Head Contractor (Builder).
The delivery strategy has the foresight into how the projects can deliver on the ground and tie-in the type of contract used to maximize the outcomes, achieving efficient in program, cost, and quality of the products.
