In 2012, PSI Projects successfully delivered the Lochmore Apartments — a landmark residential development comprising six stand-alone medium-rise boutique apartment buildings constructed on a challenging 10,000 m² sloping site in Melbourne’s growing northern suburbs.
The project required innovative engineering and construction methodologies to overcome the complexities of the steep terrain, ensuring stability, compliance, and constructability. A new internal road network was designed and constructed to connect the buildings, supported by integrated underground services, drainage, and utilities infrastructure. This enabled seamless access, circulation, and shared services across the development.
Each building was delivered as a premium residential product, with careful attention to structural integrity, services integration, and high-quality finishes. Through close collaboration with consultants, contractors, and authorities, the development achieved Practical Completion in 2012, setting a new benchmark for boutique apartment living in the region.
