The Frankston Park Sports Pavilion was conceived as a multi-purpose facility designed to meet the dual demands of elite sport and community events. Strategically positioned to capture sweeping views of Port Phillip Bay, the pavilion was delivered as a Design & Construct project, integrating advanced sporting amenities with flexible event and business spaces.
The design intent was to create a venue that functioned as a sporting hub during the season while transforming into a conference, reception, and event centre in the off-season. To achieve this, the pavilion incorporated adaptable layouts, robust structural solutions, and high-quality finishes suitable for diverse uses ranging from wedding receptions and corporate functions to training sessions and game-day activities.
By combining sporting, business, and community needs within one complex, the Frankston Park Sports Pavilion set a benchmark for flexible civic infrastructure.
