The Frankston Yacht Club (FYC) was completed in 2016, delivered on one of Victoria’s most iconic beachfronts overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Designed as a landmark community and recreational facility, the project incorporated a distinctive maritime architectural theme, with forms and detailing inspired by the sleek lines and profile of a ship.
The building’s design and construction required innovative coastal engineering solutions to address the harsh marine environment, including the use of durable marine-grade materials and corrosion-resistant finishes. The facility combines club spaces, dining areas, function rooms, and public amenities, ensuring flexibility of use and long-term resilience.
FYC stands as a signature civic project for the region, delivering both architectural presence and high-quality community infrastructure.
